Virtual Evaluations Available for Clients Located in California & Nevada

As a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in providing comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming ADHD and Autism evaluations for women and individuals from historically marginalized communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ adults.

My practice is dedicated to serving those who have been overlooked, misunderstood, or misdiagnosed by traditional healthcare systems. I provide clear, evidence-based diagnostic clarification designed to honor your intersecting identities, validate your lived experiences, and empower you with the self-understanding and tools you need to thrive.

Does this sound like your lived experience?

Often, adults who come to my practice have spent their entire lives feeling "different" without ever knowing why. When you belong to a marginalized community, you often have to work twice as hard to navigate a world that wasn't built for you.

You might recognize yourself in some of these experiences:

  • The Constant Effort to "Fit In": You find yourself constantly observing others to figure out the "right" way to behave, speak, or react. This constant social masking and camouflaging, often used as a survival strategy, leaves you feeling completely drained.

  • The Exhaustion of Daily Tasks: Despite your best intentions, staying organized, managing time, and starting tasks feels like climbing a mountain. You might feel like you are constantly working twice as hard as everyone else just to keep up.

  • Sensory Overload: The world often feels too loud, too bright, or too intense. You’ve been told you are "too sensitive" to sounds, textures, or environments, but to you, the physical discomfort is very real.

  • The "Anxiety" Diagnosis That Doesn't Fit: You may have been treated for anxiety, depression, or burnout in the past. But deep down, you feel those labels only scratch the surface and don't fully explain how your unique brain actually works.

  • A Lifelong Search for Answers: You are tired of wondering why things feel so hard. You are ready to stop blaming yourself, understand your unique strengths, and finally get the clarity you need to advocate for yourself at work, in school, and in your relationships.

Why Seek an Evaluation?

It is incredibly common for adults, especially women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individuals, to go decades without realizing they are neurodivergent. Because your traits didn't fit the narrow, outdated, and biased stereotypes of what ADHD or Autism "looks like," you may have spent years blaming yourself, feeling misunderstood, or being misdiagnosed with general anxiety or depression.

An evaluation isn't about putting you in a box or labeling you with a "disorder." It is about giving you the missing pieces to your own puzzle. It is a collaborative process designed to honor your lived experience, validate your struggles, and celebrate your unique strengths.

What clarity can bring to your life:

  • A Shift from Self-Blame to Self-Compassion: Understanding how your brain is wired allows you to stop asking, "What is wrong with me?" and start recognizing your natural processing style.

  • Real Support at Work or School: With a formal evaluation, you gain the language and documentation needed to advocate for accommodations that actually help you thrive, rather than just survive.

  • Targeted Strategies That Actually Work: Traditional productivity tips and therapy often fail neurodivergent brains. Knowing your diagnostic profile helps you find tools, therapists, and medical support tailored to how you actually think.

  • Stronger, Healthier Relationships: When you understand your sensory needs, social energy, and communication style, you can set healthier boundaries and help the people in your life understand how to support you.

Ultimately, getting answers empowers you to stop hiding who you are, embrace your strengths, and build a life that actually fits your brain.

I’m committed to making sure every assessment is not only clinically accurate, but also affirming, inclusive, and grounded in respect.

A Neurodiversity-Affirming & Culturally Responsive Approach

I believe that psychological assessment should be a collaborative, respectful, and overall empowering experience. I approach every evaluation with the understanding that neurodivergence (including ADHD and autism) is a natural and valuable part of human diversity, not something to be “fixed” or erased.

My assessments are strengths-based and tailored to reflect the lived experiences of each individual. I aim to provide clarity and insight while honoring identity, autonomy, and self-understanding.

I also recognize that cultural background, language, family values, and social context shape how we understand and express mental health. I strive to provide assessments that are culturally sensitive, anti-oppressive, and responsive to the unique identities of the people and families I serve.

You deserve to be seen and understood for who you are! Not just what shows up on a test score.

What Can I Expect From the Evaluation Process?

Each assessment is tailored to your individual questions and needs. While the process may vary depending on your circumstances, most evaluations include the following components:

  • Comprehensive clinical interview: An in-depth conversation to gather background information and better understand your concerns and experiences.

  • Testing sessions: Standardized assessments designed to evaluate attention, executive functioning, social communication, cognitive processing, behavioral patterns, and emotional functioning.

  • Collateral information: With your consent, input from a partner, parent, friend, or another person who knows you well to provide additional perspective.

  • Feedback session: A thorough explanation of the findings, diagnostic impressions, and practical recommendations.

  • Comprehensive written report: A clear, accessible document summarizing results and recommendations, which can be used for treatment planning, workplace or academic accommodations, or shared with other professionals as needed.

Investment & Evaluation Options

The evaluation process is a significant step toward clarity and self-understanding. Because everyone's goals and diagnostic questions are different, I offer tailored pricing based on the complexity of the assessment and whether you require a formal, written report.

1. Choose Your Diagnostic Focus

  • ADHD-Only Evaluation: Focused on executive dysfunction, focus, and attention.

  • Autism-Only Evaluation: Focused on social communication, sensory processing, and masking.

  • Combined (AuDHD) or Diagnostic Clarification: A comprehensive look at both ADHD and Autism, or untangling overlapping symptoms (such as trauma, anxiety, or depression) to find the right answers.

2. Choose Your Report Level & Fees

Depending on whether you need formal documentation for work/school or are simply seeking personal clarity, you can choose between two pathways:

Evaluation Type:

  • What is included in all evaluations: A thorough clinical intake interview, a customized battery of standardized diagnostic assessments, and a dedicated feedback session to review your results and personalized recommendations.

  • The difference: Option B includes extensive collateral information gathering and a comprehensive, detailed written diagnostic report required for official accommodations.

Payment & Insurance Details

  • Deposit: A $500 deposit is required to reserve your assessment appointments, with the remaining balance due at the time of the feedback session.

  • Payment Plans: Payment plans are available, and I am happy to work with you to find an option that feels manageable.

  • Insurance & HSA/FSA: While I am not in-network with insurance, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients are also able to use their HSA/FSA funds toward the total investment.

If you have questions about fees, payment plans, or insurance, please contact me for more information!
